Owner
Jesse Powell
28-year-old software and Internet entrepreneur Jesse Powell has set his sights on painting a new scene for art in Sacramento. Seeking to bring a fresh dose of uncompromisingly high caliber, contemporary shows from artists around the world, he has transformed an empty warehouse at 1900 V St. into Sacramento's largest, most progressive commercial art gallery. In accordance with his strong belief in philanthropy, he has provided 10,000 square feet of studio space surrounding the gallery to sixteen local artists free of charge. While Powell recognizes the importance of the arts, his long-term goal is to improve the world through improving education. He lives by the motto "lead by example" and is always looking for worthy causes to which he may contribute his expertise and resources.
